3 Places to Stay in Chicago

When it comes to hotels, location, comfort, and ease of booking are what I mainly look for. Of course, along with service and how late I can check out. Not to mention, I am obsessed with room service as well.

I'm back in LA guys and have been busy working away on putting together my Chicago recap. It'll be a 3-part post, starting off with where we stayed.

When it comes to last minute planning and booking on a budget, I trust Hotel Tonight, an app that allows you to save on great hotels in the city you're traveling to.

They say that planning ahead is always the best route when you're trying to save money, but when you're busy and have little time to do research, you need a little help. You can imagine how difficult it can be planning with 4 other people. Luckily, Hotel Tonight saved us on money and time! We ended up staying at the Inn of Chicago, which was located near shopping centers and the river. The room was cozy and comfy, and guest services made sure we were well taken care of.

Loews

Loews is an extremely familiar place to me and I have yet to be disappointed by them. In fact, they always exceed my expectations. Located right by the Navy Pier, Loews of Chicago had a breathtaking lobby and excellent hospitality.

We had a corner room with a view of the pier/ocean. I woke up feeling inspired and in the best mood each morning. Room service is delicious, fast, and their bathrobes are too comfortable (and so are their beds). Gym, pool, spa are all available on the 2nd floor. Also, they are pet friendly so bring your furry babies along! I cannot rave enough about Loews and can't wait to return.

Bonus: Starbucks is located inside the hotel and their rooftop terrace has great views, drinks, and games.

Virgin

If you're looking to stay downtown and within walking distance to "The Bean", then I would book a stay at one of the hippest hotels, Virgin. With a rooftop bar, complimentary happy hour for hotel guests every evening on the 2nd floor, and the cutest rooms, this is certainly a place you have to share with friends.

From the decor to the hotel staff, Virgin certainly put a smile on my face as soon as I checked in. They are also super high tech with kiosks that allow you to express check-in and out. Oh and you can control the temperature of the room through your television. Absolutely loved my stay here!

P.S. Be weary of the delicious snacks placed in front of you, it's the worse way to taunt someone who is cutting down on her sugar intake!
