Allegro Chicago

Have you ever stepped inside a hotel and have it take your breathe away? I never thought a hotel lobby could me leave speechless, but as soon as I walked into the Allegro in Chicago, I was at a loss for words.

If you've been following me for awhile, you know that I'm a huge fan of Kimpton hotels, especially their décor and Allegro has set the bar when it comes to details. From the moment you enter through the revolving doors of the first floor, your eyes will immediately be drawn to the beautiful stairway leading up to the second floor.

With high ceilings, unique artwork, and plenty of space to sit, chill or work, it'll be hard to tear away from the lobby area (on the second floor). However, curiosity occurred and I wondered, will the room look just as good?

To be quite honest, the lobby wins at #interiorgoals, however, the room we were placed in wasn't too shabby. The lighting wasn't as great, but the comfortable bed made up for that. The bathroom was spacious and while the view wasn't great, the hospitality overall was amazing. Then again, it is a Kimpton so that's never a surprise.

We stayed a total of two nights at Allegro, although I wished we had extended it just by another day to fully take advantage of the property. We didn't have a chance to experience the dining options on the lobby level but did enjoy some snacks from the mini bar in our room. We were also rushing in and out of the hotel room, attempting to squeeze in as much as we could on our short trip. Luckily, Allegro is in a prime location downtown so getting to everything was a breeze.

With three types of rooms to choose from, and three specialty suites, including a king suite with a jacuzzi, you really don't have an excuse on why you wouldn't choose this luxurious hotel to stay in.

I dare you ;)

Thank you so much to the great staff at Allegro for taking the best care of us during our stay.
