Life Update: I Quit Grad School
Ending 2020 with an official resignation from grad school. I tried it, found out it wasn’t for me, and that’s okay because life is all about figuring out who you are, what you truly are passionate about, and finding out how you want to spend your time.

Fast forward to 2019 and my dream comes true, as I find a local ranch that offers horse rentals for film and shoots. You can imagine the slack I got once I told people that I was going to do this type of shoot. Comments came left and right from people calling me “extra”, that I was “doing too much”, and that it wasn’t even a “milestone birthday”. Obviously I started feeling embarrassed and even thought about canceling the shoot, I mean, was it really necessary?
30 Things I Learned at 30
Despite what many may think, turning 30 is not scary. In fact, I was overjoyed at turning 30 and I know it may sound weird, but I felt a new energy settle into my life this past year. I didn’t care about what people thought as much, I wasn’t tolerating any bullshit anymore, and through a handful of life lessons, I had a better realization of who I am and what I want my future to look like. As they say, “30 is the new 20”, and I truly believe that my life has just started.
