7 Tips for Working from Home
Monday mornings are usually spent planning for the upcoming week, or at least that’s what my Mondays before 12 PM look like. If you work from home like me, you know how easy it is to plan but how hard it can be to stay focused throughout the day. Distractions happen left and right, and sometimes the most self-disciplined person will fall into lulls of procrastination too.
Travel Guide: Maldives
While many believe that the Maldives should be reserved for special occasions and yes, the general demographics are couples, we went as a group of 6 girls (for a press trip) and had just or even more fun together than if we had gone with our significant others. Leaving me to really urge those who want to go to the Maldives to just go and not “wait for the right time.”
Travel Guide: Havana
Just a short flight over from Miami is a country that is rich in culture and full of life. Vibrant, good vibes were felt all around as I explored Havana. The people were not only welcoming, but were so helpful and patience as we tried our best to communicate. Those four years of Spanish class in high school only got me by when it came to asking for where the bathroom was and to ensure that no cheese was included in my pasta. Hah.
Heart Full from Havana: My Raw Thoughts & Unfiltered Shots
I landed in a humid and hot country after a very uncomfortable overnight flight, but my mood was quickly lifted as I saw a driver waving a sign with mine and Layla’s name on it. He didn’t speak any English and Layla spoke a limited amount, so between the two of them, we figured out what our next steps were.
3 Days in Whistler
If you’re in need of a getaway from Vancouver or have some extra days while you’re in Vancouver, head out to Whistler and enjoy the fresh air, ride the Peak 2 Peak gondola, and maybe get lucky and see some bears. We saw two during our 3-day stay!
There is a lot to do in Whistler and while the area is known for outdoor activities, there are also some cool museums, great places to dine, and things you can do on the milder side.
4 Tips to Help You Build Your Credit
One of the things you don’t realize about adulthood is that credit is quite powerful, especially when you’re not well off. Having good credit, or even great credit, for that matter, not only represents your ability to purchase but marks you off as a “trustworthy and responsible adult” to lenders. Lenders that you may call upon for slight assistance when purchasing that new car or future home.
Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel
After standing in line for 3.5 hours through customs, due to the airport’s computers being down, I was beyond excited to realize that all I had to do was take an elevator upstairs to get to the Fairmont Vancouver Airport hotel. Within 20 minutes, I was checked into my room on the Fairmont Gold level, in a robe and refreshing myself with some snacks and drinks from the exclusive 24-hour lounge.

Life Update: The Next Chapter
Let me make this clear before anyone jumps to conclusions from the headline. No, I’m not engaged, married, or pregnant. I am also not launching a clothing or beauty brand — and nope, I’m not selling my presets!
Boho Chic Bedroom Refresh
With this refresh, I wanted to invest on a good quality bed frame and mattress. My previous frames were from Ikea. No hate on Ikea, I still shop there but we all know their furniture can break pretty easily (hah). After 3 months of searching, I ended up purchasing this platform bed frame from West Elm, upgrading myself from a full size to queen.
