The Bristol Hotel
Recently renovated, The Bristol Hotel located near Gaslamp in San Diego, has the most gorgeous suites featuring a great view, tech amenities for all your business needs, beautiful interior design, and are pet-friendly.
Swipe your key card and walk right into your home sweet home (for however long you're planning to stay). Although, trust me when I say that you'll never want to leave after you feel how comfy the bed is.
The one-bedroom suite that KSOLE and I stayed in had a bathroom and a half, large living room, ample closet space, and large windows all around. With 114 guest rooms and 5 different room choices to choose from, this boutique hotel is an ideal choice for those seeking to be right in the heart of downtown. There are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants you can walk to, and with Gaslamp right around the corner, you're all set for your Friday night out.
What I truly adored about The Bristol Hotel was the attention to detail, from the color choices of the suite to the fact that none of the wires are obviously visible. Of course, the in-room record player, huge closets, and views of downtown are huge perks as well.
With an on-site bar and lounge, you can easily enjoy a cozy night at the hotel. There is also a fitness center for those who want to work on their summer bodies, however, there is not a pool or a rooftop. With beaches just within a couple of miles though, it's not a huge loss.
Valet parking is the only option when it comes to parking ($39/night), and does come with in/out privileges. No oversized vehicles allowed.
We spent two nights at The Bristol Hotel and were extremely pleased with the service. The in-room tablet allows you to easily get your car, contact the front desk, ask for more towels, and even order Postmates. Needless to say, we had a great time!
