Around this time last year, I found myself becoming obsessed with roller skating, thanks to Instagram. I hunted down my first pair of skates and was skating 4x a week for 3 months straight. In less than 3 months, I managed to buy 5 pairs of skates and 6 sets of wheels, but after 6 months I found myself learning some of the hardest lessons in my life. Skating is one of my many passions and while it brings me joy, it also humbled me tremendously too.

Our Ikea Desk Hack - A DIY Desk for Two
Finding the right desk is like trying to find the perfect shade of beige. There are so many options and it ultimately comes down to what your personal preference is. So after six desks (in the last two years), I finally figured out that the desk of my dreams does not exist — within my budget. Instead of settling for just anything that fits into our home office, I opted to build it instead with Ikea pieces. However, none of the items we used are meant to be used for a desk and that’s what I love most about our DIY desk for two.
Our Cozy Living Room Reveal
We absolutely love our living room and it’s the best place to unwind at the end of each day for us. I also try to start my days here with a cup of coffee, listening to the birds outside (yes, we have birds chirping every day), and the sunlight seeps through our window beautiful in the early mornings. Needless to say, this room sparks so much joy and we hope it does for all our futures guests too.

Get Organized with these 10 Products
Anyone else spending more time cleaning and organizing their home lately? I don’t know what it is, but an organized home makes me so happy. In the last two months, I’ve been going through our apartment and decluttering everything — the cabinets, the linen closet, our closet, our dressers, and even under the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Throughout the process, I found myself needing an organization system of some sort. I did some research, compared different websites, and tested out everything I got to ensure that the quality was worth the price.
